For example, where you have established a pre‑authorized cheque plan that enables you to make purchases at regular intervals or make a purchase using a personal cheque, we hold your financial institution account number. At times, we may request independent sources to verify and supplement information that you provide to us. However, if you purchase a mutual fund, regulatory requirements also dictate that we collect income and net worth information as well as your investment goals and risk tolerance.
